We are excited to present the 2016 CEDAR-GEM Joint Workshop registration

Due to the current funding climate, our CEDAR Workshop and community
proposal funding has been reduced. In the past, CEDAR has funded 130-150
students each year, but the current student funding has been reduced to 125
students. The CEDAR Science Steering Committee (CSSC) is committed to
supporting as many students as possible. Therefore, to partially compensate
for the limited resources the CSSC has decided on the following:

1) Only students who present a poster may receive funding. Students do not
have to be first author but must present a poster.  *Student travel support
will be limited to the first 125 students that request it during the
registration process.  No requests will be taken outside of the
registration process.*

2) We have increased the student registration fee and it has been changed
to include all student types.   All students are required to pay a student
registration fee this year. The student registration fee includes the
CEDAR-GEM Welcome Reception, the CEDAR Student Lunch, the CEDAR-GEM Student
Dinner and the CEDAR-GEM Banquet Dinner, in order to maximize the
opportunity for networking.

3) Breakfast is included in the hotel rates at the Drury Plaza Inn and the
Eldorado hotels, therefore here will be no group CEDAR-GEM student
breakfasts.
