I have looked at the orbit 503 ATS files: IBEX_2020_278_o0503a_INST_v001.scr, IBEX_2020_278_o0503a_BUS_v002.scr and I approve.

The only constraint violations in IBEX_2020_278_o0503a_INST_v001.ccvr and IBEX_2020_278_o0503a_BUS_v001.ccvr are from the removal of the ACT_SetSpinPulseProtectEnable Enable commands (2); the violations are expected.

The PL commands in IBEX_2020_278_o0503a_INST_v001.scr match those in IBEX_2020_278_o0503a_v002.stf

Ascending and descending command sequences are consistent with each other, 15 Re ascending, the apogee maneuver time and 15 Re descending as determined from the OEF, IBEX_2020_278_o0503a_BUS_v001.oef and as verified with the crossing times report and ibex_orbit.

There is one star tracker outages due to the moon around perigee lasting ~21 hours.

The ground station command sequences are correct and the timing and bit rates match those in the contacts file, IBEX_Orbit503_Contacts.txt for the (4) contacts.

We are doing battery cell balancing this orbit and the balancing commands are correct and offset by enough time from other commands.

The sun precession maneuver at perigee of orbit 502 left us pointing in a safe direction for the orbit 503 arc A ascending and descending sequences:

There is no overlap with Orbit 502 commands by manual inspection or by checking at http://ibex.unh.edu/cgi-bin/ats.cgi<https://nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fibex.unh.edu%2Fcgi-bin%2Fats.cgi&data=02%7C01%7Ccarol.weaver%40unh.edu%7Cd432459eac2645c61d2008d855cbc137%7Cd6241893512d46dc8d2bbe47e25f5666%7C0%7C0%7C637353680905016779&sdata=cAIPmUJbtS8AzUoQf4yWiGQy4SlzToopbvC%2BEVORbFg%3D&reserved=0>.

Caution - External Email

All,
I received confirmation from APL this morning for the pass on 10/13/20 @04:00:00 gmt. So, I would like to use this version 2 BUS ATS, instead of creating a new ATS for just the APL commands.
     Tim

Subject: IBEX Orbit #503 ATS Approval ( 4 Oct 20 13 Oct 20)

All,
Attached are the planning files for Orbit #503
Please respond to this thread with comments and approvals.
Approvals are required by COB on 19 September 2020

Please note the following:

  1. I generated 3 separate ATS files BUS, INST and a complete file. The BUS and INST will be the files to be uplinked. The complete ATS, I used as a sanity check to see how the commands lined up. Since we are in a new phase of ATS generation. IF you have any ideas of doing this differently, let me know.

  1. The 3 ATS files have been changed to word files and encrypted. I will send out another email with the password. The files that have been transferred via MFT have not been encrypted and are still text files.

  1. I moved the 2 House Keeping commands from the INST ATS to the BUS ATS. I commented out the 2 commands in the INST ATS. If for some reason we were unable to uplink the INST Commands for this orbit, we would have been in the wrong spacecraft state for executing the maneuver commands.

  1. Battery Balancing this orbit
# 2020-10-13T12:27:12.723Z,Perigee,orbit:503
Begin - 2020/10:13:12:00:00 – End - 2020/10:13:13:30:00

  1. Orbit# 501 Reset Master Timer - 2020/09:25:13:15:00

  1. APL Contact

The commands have been commented out because I am still waiting on the schedule confirmation from APL. I will create a separate ATS for the APL contact once the contact has been confirmed.
Just a reminder for the APL contact. We will start off at 2k D\L, after 5 minutes we switch to 320k D\L. Then 5 minutes later we start the SSR Dump With Dump New command

  1. Command Load Constraint Violation Report (CCVR)
