[Isocops] IBEX Orbit# 327 ATS Approval (17 May 16 - 26 May 16) - v001 approval

All,

Note: Off-pointing at arc B descending is 3.874 deg
Off-pointing at orbit 328 apogee is 4.852 deg
I have looked at the orbit 327 recovery ATS,

IBEX_2016_138_o0327a_Recovery_v001.scr,

and I approve.

The only constraint violations in

IBEX_2016_138_o0327a_Recovery_v001.ccvr

are because we removed the

ACT_SetSpinPulseProtectEnable Enable

commands (2) and because of closely spaced contacts; the violations are expected.

The PL commands in the v001 ATS match those in the v003 STF,

IBEX_2016_138_o0327a_v003.stf.

Ascending and descending command sequences are consistent with each other and 15 Re ascending, the apogee maneuver time and 15 Re descending as determined from the OEF,

IBEX_2016_138_o0327a_Recovery_v001.oef,

and as verified with ibex_orbit.

There are two star tracker outages. The first starts 1 1/2+ days after apogee and runs for almost two days. The second starts 8 hours before perigee and runs for 3+ hours. If the star tracker was operational, some despinning might be required due to the first outage.

There are no moon in Lo FOV sessions.

The ground station command sequences are correct and the timing and bit rates match those in the contacts file,

IBEX_Orbit327_RecoveryContacts.txt,

for the 4 contacts in the ATS. The APL pass commands will be in a separate ATS.

The sun precession maneuver at perigee of orbit 326 left us pointing in safe directions for the orbit 327 arc A ascending and descending sequences:

ibex_rotate -o -r +54.139 -d +19.374 -w ibex-sun -t 2016/05:17:23:31:47

No Lo O-mode.

The transmitter off command from the last orbit 326 contact will execute after the orbit 327 ascending bus commands. This is seen via manual inspection and by checking at

http://ibex.unh.edu/cgi-bin/ats.cgi .

Otherwise there is no overlap with orbit 326 commands.

Command Approval Checklist is attached.
