Dear Hubbard Brook colleagues:

I have attached a paper just published (available online) by Ecosystems.
It shows an increase in late-stage litter decomposition in the
calcium-treated watershed 1 compared to a control site. We think this is
interesting because it provides a mechanism for the decrease in forest
floor and soil carbon and nitrogen pools in W1 observed by Chris Johnson et
al. (SSSAJ 2014).

Best regards,

Gary
