[HubbardBrookCOS] Waterviz2.0 is launched with a new grant from the National Science Foundation

Dear Hubbard Brook Colleagues,
Our proposal: "The Confluence of Art, Music and Science at Long Term Ecological Research Sites" has been funded by the National Science Foundation.  We will be upgrading the current Waterviz for Hubbard Brook, creating a Waterviz for the HJ Andrews Forest,  developing an interactive modeling 'My Waterviz' component, working with educators on incorporating this into middle and high school classrooms, and interacting with neuroscientists to better understand if, and how, multi media stimulation of the brain aids in understanding pattern and process in complex scientific data sets.
