Good Afternoon Hubbard Brook,

Do you know students who are passionate and knowledgeable about climate,
clean energy, nature-based solutions, and civic engagement?

*The 2024 Youth Forum on Climate Action and Clean Energy planning committee
is reaching out to faculty at NH colleges, universities, and high schools
to share an opportunity for your graduate, undergraduate, and high school
students for participation in this student-centered Youth Forum at the
Capitol Center for the Arts, Bank of NH Stage in downtown Concord, NH.*
Students who apply and are selected for a panel will be able to present a
question to expert speakers about climate, clean energy, and nature-based
solutions to a large audience.

We are looking for *12 students* (and possible alternates) who:

● Would be comfortable speaking at a large public event that is simulcast
and recorded
● Are enrolled in a topic-aligned academic program at a NH high school,
college, or university
● Represent a variety of interests, viewpoints, institutions, and
backgrounds
● Will research the speakers’ expertise and prepare up to 5 related
questions after selection
● Will be available all day and could travel to/from Concord on January 18,
2024

Event organizers will work with students in advance. Participation in two
one-hour training sessions will be required. There will be one virtual
session during the week of January 1, and one session during the week of
January 8 that may be either virtual or in-person. They will be scheduled
after 5pm and held via Zoom video conference or in person in Hanover, NH.
