We are writing this afternoon to share the devastating news of Gary
Lovett's sudden passing over the weekend. To those who knew Gary through
Hubbard Brook, he was more than a colleague, mentor, and leader - he was a
friend. This makes the grief profound on many levels, and we share your
feelings of deep loss.

If you'd like to express your personal condolences, you can send notes to
Gary's wife Janet and daughter Emma by email or snail mail. They prefer no
calls at this time.
