A number of users experienced:
mpiexec: Error: get_hosts: pbs_connect: No server specified...

After trying some jobs of my own, I fiddled around and did the following
on the headnode:

cd /var/spool
ln -s torque pbs
ln -s torque PBS

and added /var/spool/torque/mom_priv/config with:
$pbsserver  h101
$usecp h101:/home /home

This seems to make my job run. I think that pbs/PBS are assumed rather 
than torque.
