Dear colleagues,
JGR: Space Physics is looking for a new Editor in Chief!
The application deadline is extended to 31-July.
This is your chance to shape the direction of one of the most influential journals in geophysics, including selecting Editors and Associate Editors, driving
special issues, and serving as ambassador at scientific meetings. We all know how important JGR: Space Physics is for the scientific community, and so it’s important that we have a visionary leader in the EiC position.
Might that person be you? If so…apply, apply, apply!!! All you need to do is send a CV and a letter of interest. You can do that, right?
Do you have a person in mind that you think is qualified that you would like to suggest? If so, tell us, tell us, tell us!!! All you need to do is send us
an email with a name and email address.
People from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply. Seriously, AGU has recently had a not-so-good track record on diversity for its EiC positions,
even though there are many potential qualified applicants. The search committee is committed to a fair and impartial process.
Ready to apply? Send your application to
pubmatters@agu.org
Ready to suggest/nominate a colleague? Send a name to mcohen@gatech.edu
Have questions for the search committee? Send an email to
JGR-SpacePhysicsEditor-in-ChiefSearchCommittee@agu.org
Buh-bye!
Morris Cohen, Georgia Tech
Chair of the Search Committee
