Tim and Sheral,

Many thanks for going above and beyond these past two orbits to ensure the spacecraft was healthy after the Alaska contacts failed. The personal sacrifices you continue to make for this mission - day, night, weekends or holidays - are much appreciated.

I'm sure SSC is looking into why the AK contacts failed but I'll follow up with them. I see you've already extended contacts next perigee to downlink the orbit 585 SSR data which we didn't get this orbit. And you've switched the AK contact to HI01 - good idea.

Thank you, thank you, thank you and Go IBEX!

All,

The first perigee contact for Orbit# 585 was nominal and the inertial maneuver was successful.

The SSR_Dump  contact with USAK01 was a failure. At AOS, we did not see downlink and tried to command to a lower downlink data rate with no success.

We then tried to blind acq the spacecraft @160k with no success and tried again to command the downlink to 2k & to 40k with no success.

The contact was ended early and a scheduled Blind_Acq contact with HAW01 @1045z was successful to monitor the health of the spacecraft.
