Spacecraft and payload recovery procedures have been successfully completed and we are back in HVSCI (5 minutes earlier than if the anomaly hadn’t happened, so absolutely no data lost !!!). Thanks everyone for first class support, as always.

We have had multiple star tracker resets recently and although the star tracker appears to be functioning nominally after the recovery, we have taken the precaution of switching to Sun maneuvers for the next few orbits while we monitor it closely.

Thanks,
Nigel

All,
The spacecraft is currently in contingency mode. Prior to the start of the perigee inertial maneuver, the star tracker reset 3 times. The times of the resets are 18:23:51, 18:35:43 & 18:46:19. At the beginning of the maneuver the Sta Percent Valid was still at zero. We entered contingency mode at 19:01:56. The instruments were safed, the CEU is still on the 5N thrusters were disabled and the stored commands were deleted. Both the cat bed heaters were commanded off and set the thrust time value to zero via ground command.  I am in the process of scheduling some contacts for the recovery. I will send out the schedule later.
