As you may be aware, there was an IBEX Star Tracker Reset yesterday. These have occurred from time to time throughout the mission but since we haven’t had one in a while, here’s a reminder of how these events are handled.

A Star Tracker Reset is considered a minor anomaly that is handled in real-time with the execution of Standing CAR# 344 (S924-OP31210/S924-OP31211) to reset the FDC Totals and Response Latch Values (this was performed during the July 9 10:00 - 11:00 UTC contact). It does not warrant a call to the wider IBEX community.

In the SSMO SOARS system, Star Tracker Resets are categorized as "monitor with no action" and they have been marked an acceptable risk and retired in SSMO risk tracking.

Thanks,
Nigel

The Perigee contacts for Orbit# 372 were nominal for command/telemetry and the maneuver successful.
The SSR pointers were reset to 6500.
VC2= 20715 with 0 errors
The star tracker power cycled on 9 July 17 @09:59:45 and the AC_FDC latches/totals were reset
