[Isocops] IBEX ORbit# 358 ATS Approval (24 Feb 17 - 5 MAr 17) - v001 approval

All, 

I have looked at the orbit 358 ATS, 

IBEX_2017_055_o0358a_v001.scr, 

and I approve. 

The only constraint violations in 

IBEX_2017_055_o0358a_v001.ccvr 

are due to contact length/timing and from the removal of the 

ACT_SetSpinPulseProtectEnable Enable 

commands (2); the violations are expected. 

The PL commands in the v001 ATS match those in the v003 STF, 

IBEX_2017_055_o0358a_v003.stf. 

Ascending and descending command sequences are consistent with each other and 15 Re ascending, the apogee maneuver time and 15 Re descending as determined from the OEF, 

IBEX_2017_055_o0358a_v001.oef, 

and as verified with ibex_orbit. 

There is one star tracker outage. The outage starts 2- days after apogee and runs for almost 2 days. Some despinning may be required due to this outage. 

There is one moon in Lo FOV session in arc B (there are two in the OEF but the second is short and is ignored in the STF). The ATS start time is 5+ hours before that in the OEF and the ATS end time is 16 hours before that in the OEF. These differences are not unusual. 

The ground station command sequences are correct and the timing and bit rates match those in the contacts file, 

IBEX_Orbit358_Contacts.txt, 

for all contacts (3). 

We are doing battery cell balancing this orbIt and the balancing commands are correct and offset by enough time from other commands. 

The inertial maneuver at perigee of orbit 357 left us pointing in safe directions for the orbit 358 ascending and descending sequences:

Lo O-mode in arc A (plan 6, 7, 1, 1). O-mode timing matches that specified in the ISN season memo. There is more than 1 hour between the end of the ascending sequence and the start of O-mode and also more than an hour after O-mode ends and the start of the descending sequence. 

There is no overlap with orbit 357 commands by manual inspection or by checking at 

http://ibex.unh.edu/cgi-bin/ats.cgi .
