[Isocops] IBEX Orbit# 324 ATS Approval v002 (19 Apr 16 - 28 Apr 16) - v002 approval

All,

Note: Off-pointing at arc B descending is 3.871 deg
Off-pointing at orbit 325 apogee is 4.919 deg

Note: Only difference (other than comments) between the v001 and v002 files is in the start time of the star tracker outage at the end of orbit 323.

I have looked at the orbit 324 recovery ATS,

IBEX_2016_110_o0324a_Recovery_v002.scr ,

and I approve.

The only constraint violations in

IBEX_2016_110_o0324a_Recovery_v002.ccvr

are because we removed the

ACT_SetSpinPulseProtectEnable Enable

commands (2); the violations are expected.

The PL commands in the v002 ATS match those in the v003 STF,

IBEX_2016_110_o0324a_v003.stf,

except the ATS has an SSR_DUMP_NEW command. This is expected as APL is being used for the dump pass.

Ascending and descending command sequences are consistent with each other and 15 Re ascending, the apogee maneuver time and 15 Re descending as determined from the OEF,

IBEX_2016_110_o0324a_Recovery_v002.oef ,

and as verified with ibex_orbit.

There are 3 star tracker outages. The first starts about 2 hours before 15 Re ascending and ends about 3 hours later. The second starts 3 1/2+ days after the first outage ends and runs for about 3 days. The third starts about 8 1/2 hours before 15 Re descending and ends 9 1/2 hours later. If the star tracker was working some despinning might be required due to the outages.

There are no moon in Lo FOV sessions.

The ground station command sequences are correct and the timing and bit rates match those in the contacts file,

IBEX_Orbit324_RecoveryContacts.txt,

for all contacts (3).

We are doing battery cell balancing this orbit and the balancing commands are correct and offset by enough time from other commands.

The sun precession maneuver at perigee of orbit 323 left us pointing in safe directions for the orbit 324 arc A ascending and descending sequences:

ibex_rotate -o -r +27.446 -d +11.316 -w ibex-sun -t 2016/04:20:05:17:17
