All,

Note: Angle at apogee after the perigee sun precession maneuver: 4.908 deg

I have looked at the orbit 281 ATS,

IBEX_2015_085_o0281a_v001.scr,

and I approve.

The constraint violation in

IBEX_2015_085_o0281a_v001.ccvr

is related to the eclipse in orbit 280 and isn't a problem.

The PL commands in the v001 ATS match those in the v002 STF,

IBEX_2015_085_o0281a_v002.stf,

except that the ATS has an SSR_DUMP_NEW command. This is expected as APL is being used for the dump pass.

Ascending and descending command sequences are consistent with each other and 15 Re ascending, the apogee maneuver time and 15 Re descending as determined from the OEF,

IBEX_2015_085_o0281a_v001.oef,

and as verified with ibex_orbit.

There are two star tracker outages but they overlap causing one continuous outage. The outage starts 2+ days after apogee and ends after perigee. Some despinning may be required due to this outage.

There is one moon in Lo FOV session in arc A. The ATS start time is about 7 1/2 hours after that in the OEF and the ATS end time is about 3 1/2 hours after that in the OEF. These differences are not unusual.

The ground station command sequences are correct and the timing and bit rates match those in the contacts file,

IBEX_Orbit281Contacts.txt,

for all contacts (4) .

No battery cell balancing this orbit; we'll do it again in the next orbit.

The inertial maneuver at perigee of orbit 280 left us pointing in safe directions for the orbit 281 arc A ascending and descending sequences:

ibex_rotate -o -u 0.998488,0.053534,0.012496 -w ibex-sun -t 2015/03:27:03:07:13
