All,

I have looked at the orbit 278 ATS,

IBEX_2015_058_o0278a_v003.scr,

and I approve.

The constraint violation in

IBEX_2015_058_o0278a_v003.ccvr

is related to the eclipse and isn't a problem.

The PL commands in the v003 ATS match those in the v003 STF,

IBEX_2015_058_o0278a_v003.stf.

Ascending and descending command sequences are consistent with each other and 15 Re ascending, the apogee maneuver time and 15 Re descending as determined from the OEF,

IBEX_2015_058_o0278a_v003.oef,

and as verified with ibex_orbit.

There are two star tracker outages but one runs concurrently with the other. The longer outage starts about 8 hours after apogee and runs for 3+ days. Some despinning may be required due to this outage.

There are no moon in Lo FOV sessions.

The ground station command sequences are correct and the timing and bit rates match those in the contacts file,

IBEX_Orbit278Contacts.txt,

for all contacts (3).

The LE flag is set because of the eclipse. The start and end times match Ryan's recommendations.

The inertial maneuver at perigee of orbit 277 left us pointing in safe directions for the orbit 278 arc A ascending and descending sequences:

ibex_rotate -o -u 0.934137,-0.351249,-0.063348 -w ibex-sun -t 2015/02:27:20:50:25

Lo O-mode in all of arc A (plan 6,7,1,1). There is more than 1 hour between the end of the ascending sequence and the start of O-mode and also more than an hour after O-mode ends and the start of the descending sequence.

There is no overlap with orbit 277 commands by manual inspection or by checking at

http://ibex.unh.edu/cgi-bin/ats.cgi .

Command Approval Checklist is attached.
