All,

Note: Angle at orbit 285 apogee after the perigee sun precession maneuver: 4.814 deg

I have looked at the orbit 284 ATS,

IBEX_2015_112_o0284a_v001.scr,

and I approve.

There are no constraint violations in

IBEX_2015_112_o0284a_v001.ccvr.

The PL commands in the v001 ATS match those in the v002 STF,

IBEX_2015_112_o0284a_v002.stf,

except that the ATS has an SSR_DUMP_NEW command. This is expected as APL is being used for the dump pass.

Ascending and descending command sequences are consistent with each other and 15 Re ascending, the apogee maneuver time and 15 Re descending as determined from the OEF,

IBEX_2015_112_o0284a_v001.oef,

and as verified with ibex_orbit.

There are two star tracker outages. The first starts about 15 hours before 15 Re descending and ends 9- hours before perigee. The second starts about 4 1/2 hours after the first outage ends and ends 12- hours later. Some despinning may be required due to the first outage.

There is one moon in Lo FOV session in arc A. The ATS start time is about 9 1/2 hours after that in the OEF. The end commands for this session do not appear in the ATS because the end time occurs after we've descended. The OEF has a second session in arc B but this session does not appear in the ATS because it is too short.

The ground station command sequences are correct and the timing and bit rates match those in the contacts file,

IBEX_Orbit284Contacts.txt,

for all contacts (4).

No battery cell balancing this orbit; we'll do it again in the next orbit.

The inertial maneuver at perigee of orbit 283 left us pointing in safe directions for the orbit 284 arc A ascending and descending sequences:

ibex_rotate -o -u 0.869015,0.457792,0.187724 -w ibex-sun -t 2015/04:23:01:41:05
