All,

I have looked at the orbit 238 ATS,

IBEX_2014_058_o0238a_v001.scr,

and I approve.

There are no constraint violations in

IBEX_2014_058_o0238a_v001.ccvr.

The PL commands in the v001 ATS match those in the v003 STF,

IBEX_2014_058_o0238a_v003.stf,

except that the ATS has an SSR_DUMP_NEW command. However, this is expected as APL is being used for a dump pass.

Ascending and descending command sequences are consistent with each other and 15 Re ascending, the apogee maneuver time and 15 Re descending as determined from the OEF,

IBEX_2014_058_o0238a_v001.oef,

and as verified with ibex_orbit.

The Hi ABAB command sequences and timing look reasonable.

There are two star tracker outages. The first starts about 7 1/2 hours before apogee and ends at apogee. The second starts about 2 1/2 hours after apogee and runs for 3+ days. Some despinning may be required due to these outages.

There is one moon in Lo FOV session in arc B. The ATS start time is about 7 hours after that in the OEF and the ATS end time is the same as that in the OEF. The difference in start times is not unusual. There are two additional moon in Lo FOV sessions in the OEF but, due to different keep out angles, these sessions are too short to appear in the STF/ATS.

The ground station command sequences are correct and the timing and bit rate match those in the contacts file,

IBEX_Orbit238Contacts.txt,

for the apogee and APL contacts. All other contacts will be blind acquisitions while we are doing Hi ABAB operations.

We are doing battery cell balancing this orbit and the balancing commands are correct and offset by enough time from other commands.

The inertial maneuver at perigee of orbit 237 left us pointing in safe directions for orbit 238 arc A ascending and descending sequences:

ibex_rotate -o -u 0.922468,-0.350671,-0.1615 -w ibex-sun -t 2014/02:27:17:35:01
