All,

I have looked at the orbit 272 ATS,

IBEX_2015_002_o0272a_v001.scr,

and I approve.

There are no constraint violations in

IBEX_2015_002_o0272a_v001.ccvr.

The PL commands in the v001 ATS match those in the v003 STF,

IBEX_2015_002_o0272a_v003.stf.

Ascending and descending command sequences are consistent with each other and 15 Re ascending, the apogee maneuver time and 15 Re descending as determined from the OEF,

IBEX_2015_002_o0272a_v001.oef,

and as verified with ibex_orbit.

There is one star tracker outage. The outage starts about 14 1/2 hours after 15 Re ascending and runs for over 3 days (thus delaying the apogee maneuver). Some despinning may be required due to these outages.

There is one moon in Lo FOV session in arc B. The ATS start time is about 2 1/2 hours before that in the OEF and the ATS and OEF end times are the same. Differences in the timing are not unusual.

The ground station command sequences are correct and the timing and bit rates match those in the contacts file,

IBEX_Orbit272Contacts.txt,

for all contacts (3).

We are doing battery cell balancing this orbit and the balancing commands are correct and offset by enough time from other commands.

The inertial maneuver at perigee of orbit 271 left us pointing in safe directions for the orbit 272 arc A ascending and descending sequences:

ibex_rotate -o -u 0.229904,-0.922231,-0.310859 -w ibex-sun -t 2015/01:03:09:44:05

Lo O-mode in all of arc B ( plan 6,7,1,1). There is more than 1 hour between the end of the ascending sequence and the start of O-mode and also more than an hour after O-mode ends and the start of the descending sequence.

There is no overlap with orbit 271 commands by manual inspection or by checking at

http://ibex.unh.edu/cgi-bin/ats.cgi .

Command Approval Checklist is attached.
