All,

I have looked at the orbit 243 ATS,

IBEX_2014_103_o0243a_v001.scr,

and I approve.

The only constraint violation in

IBEX_2014_103_o0243a_v001.ccvr

is related to the eclipse at the start of the orbit and is expected.

The PL commands in the v001 ATS match those in the v003 STF,

IBEX_2014_103_o0243a_v003.stf,

except that the ATS has an SSR_DUMP_NEW command. However, this is expected as APL is being used for the dump pass.

Ascending and descending command sequences are consistent with each other and 15 Re ascending, the apogee maneuver time and 15 Re descending as determined from the OEF,

IBEX_2014_103_o0243a_v001.oef,

and as verified with ibex_orbit.

The Hi ABAB command sequences and timing look reasonable.

There are two star tracker outages. The first starts 2 1/2+ days after 15 Re ascending and ends 3+ days later. The second starts about a day after the first outage ends and ends 1+ days later. Some despinning may be required due to these outages.

There are no moon in Lo FOV sessions.

The ground station command sequence is correct and the timing and bit rate match those in the contacts file,

IBEX_Orbit243Contacts.txt,

for the SSR dump contact. All other contacts this orbit will be blind acquisitions.

No battery cell balancing this orbit; we'll do it again in the next orbit.

The sun precession maneuver at perigee of orbit 242 left us pointing in safe directions for the orbit 243 arc A ascending and descending sequences:

ibex_rotate -o -r +21.261 -d +8.943 -w ibex-sun -t 2014/04:14:02:19:37

The inertial maneuver at perigee leaves us pointing in safe directions at the time of the maneuver and at orbit 244 apogee:

ibex_rotate -o -u 0.865624,0.463229,0.190038 -w ibex-sun -t 2014/04:22:08:23:12

No Lo O-mode.

There is no overlap with orbit 242 commands by manual inspection or by checking at

Command Approval Checklist is attached.
