All,

I have looked at the orbit 229 ATS,

IBEX_2013_342_o0229a_v001.scr,

and I approve.

There are no constraint violations in

IBEX_2013_342_o0229a_v001.ccvr.

The PL commands in the v001 ATS match those in the v002 STF,

IBEX_2013_342_o0229a_v002.stf.

Ascending and descending command sequences are consistent with each other and 15 Re ascending, the apogee maneuver time and 15 Re descending as determined from the OEF,

IBEX_2013_342_o0229a_v001.oef,

and as verified with ibex_orbit.

There are three star tracker outages. The first starts about 40 minutes after 15 Re ascending and ends about 26 hours later. The second starts about a day and a half after the first outage ends and ends 4+ days later. The third starts about 13 hours after the second outage ends and ends about 1 hour before 15 Re ascending in orbit 230. Despinning will be required due to these outages.

There are no moon in Lo FOV sessions.

The ground station command sequences are correct and the timing and bit rates match those in the contacts file,

IBEX_Orbit229Contacts.txt,

for all contacts (4).

We are doing battery cell balancing this orbit and the balancing commands are correct and offset by enough time from other commands.

The inertial maneuver at perigee of orbit 228 left us pointing in safe directions for orbit 229 arc A ascending and descending sequences:

ibex_rotate -o -u -0.273158,-0.878577,-0.391775 -w ibex-sun -t 2013/12:09:07:21:50

No Lo O-mode.

There is no overlap with orbit 228 commands by manual inspection or by checking at

http://ibex.unh.edu/cgi-bin/ats.cgi .

Command Approval Checklists are attached.
