Hi Sheral, Tim,
 
We need to use the last 15m of every non-SSR dump pass to attempt to step up the data rate, regardless of whether you think it is unlikely to be successful. Again, useful information still comes from an unsuccessful attempt.
 
It does not take much time, is easy to do, and has large potential benefits. 
 
This is in the pass plan checklist. It needs to be done on every tracking pass.
