Good afternoon,

 

The AUWA contact at 19:10 UTC today was at low elevation, which we knew when
we scheduled it but due to limited view periods this orbit, we kept the
contact.  Chelle also has details on this if you need further info.  Some of
the Doppler from this contact was rejected by our OD process entirely.  The
Doppler that was actually accepted subsequently caused our quality checks to
fail.  

 

We would like to schedule another contact this orbit. We originally had a
Hawaii-1 tracking contact scheduled for Saturday morning in anticipation of
this happening, given the low elevation from this contact, but that is a
no-go since Hawaii-1 now needs maintenance on it this weekend.   I already
spoke to Sheral, and she is going to look at the schedule and view periods
for this coming week and see what we can get that makes sense.
