Hubbard Brook Grads,

Since this is probably a great time for working on papers, it's also a good time for a data
citation refresher. All Hubbard Brook data are submitted to the Environmental Data Initiative (EDI)
Repository. If you are working on a paper now, with new data that are not in the repository, I am here to
help you with that step.

Keep in mind, that there are different ways to access data - a web or data portal search that
links you to data via URL, and a repository citation that includes a persistent DOI. The take home
message here is that a link may work today, but the DOI will work forever!!!!  See these
examples below. If you have any questions about citing data in your manuscripts, please let
