Hello Graduate Students,
The Hubbard Brook Science Coordinating Committee wants your input about potential meeting topics for the Quarterly Project Meeting this coming July (around the Annual Cooperators Meeting). Alicia and I would love any suggestions or thoughts you all have about topics that are important to you and deserve a place at the table or a graduate student perspective? Please reach out (madaline.cochrane at umontana.edu<mailto:madaline.cochrane at umontana.edu>) if you want to propose some ideas, ask if something is relevant or already being addressed, etc. as the more diverse perspectives the better!
You've likely already seen this announcement but the LTER All Scientists' Meeting will be help September 20-23rd in Pacific Grove, CA. We'd love as many HBEF folks joining as possible! If you think you are going to be able to make it and want to get to know other graduate students from across the network we are currently trying to put together some fun ideas for social events during the conference. Let us know if you have any ideas! I think trivia at a local brewery is already on tap.
Cheers,
Maddy Cochrane
