Hello Hubbard Brook graduate students, and welcome to grads newly added to
the email list! Our information manager, Mary Martin, has been hard at work
creating a new listserv to replace the old. This new list will be your
go-to for updates from the broader LTER graduate network and graduate
activities.

First, it was great to see people at the January Committee of Scientists
(COS) meeting. If you weren't able to attend, there is another
quarterly meeting on April 30, "Model Data Fusion and Scenario Making
at Hubbard Brook", led by Jackie Mathus and Peter Groffman.

That brings me to an exciting development--we have been invited to lead and
participate in the summer COS meeting on July 9 immediately following the
annual Cooperator's Meeting (July 7-8). Four years ago, Hubbard Brook
had a COS meeting, "Views from the field", in the same vein that
was led principally by graduate students presenting their work at field
locations. In talking to people who attended and presented, it seems to
have been really successful.

If you have a second, can you fill out the survey below to indicate whether
you're interested in participating?

Thanks, and cheers,
Jenny
