The RAC (Research Approval Committee) will be reviewing proposals for research in April. The deadline to submit a RAC proposal is this week, on
Wednesday 15 March.

REU proposals: If you have a project idea for an REU that involves significant disturbance, please submit that proposal for the 15 March deadline. If you already know what the REU project will involve, please also submit the proposal
for 15 March.
For REU projects with moderate disturbance, we are adding an
REU RAC proposal deadline in early June. The proposals would be reviewed about one week later. We are doing this on a trial basis, because we recognize that it is sometimes not possible to predict the scope of the REU project before the student arrives.
Please be cognizant of the fact that this additional deadline places a burden on the RAC and is not to be used for proposals that should be submitted for the 15 March deadline.
