Dear Hubbard Brook Colleagues:

The next Hubbard Brook LTER proposal will be due in early 2022 for funding starting in 2023.  Gary Lovett will not be involved in this proposal due to his expected retirement , and Peter Groffman will be the lead PI.  We traditionally have a two-person team lead the LTER to share the writing and administrative load.  Gary and Peter asked Pam Templer if she would be interested in being Peter’s co-PI for the next round, and she is willing to do this. The Scientific Coordinating Committee (minus Pam) discussed this and agreed that Pam would be an excellent choice for this role. 

We are asking for your feedback as COS members.  If you have any objections or reservations about Pam taking this leadership role with the LTER, please let us know by phone or email.  You can respond to John Battles, Peter Groffman and/or Gary Lovett, and your responses will be kept confidential.
