[HubbardBrookCOS] Invitation to submit to special collection: Celebration of Tim Fahey’s career and contributions to Forest Ecology in CJFR

Fellow collaborators,
Many of you are aware of this effort, but we wanted to make sure everyone had the information.
We are coordinating a collection of papers in the Canadian Journal of Forest Research<https://cdnsciencepub.com/journal/cjfr> to celebrate Tim Fahey. Joe Yavitt, Erik Lilleskov, John Battles and myself will be serving as Guest Editors for the collection “Celebration of Tim Fahey’s career and contributions to Forest Ecology”.  In addition to standard research articles, CJFR wanted us to mention that they welcome reviews, perspectives, and notes.
The collection is now open for submissions!  Submission instructions are as follows:

  *   The deadline for submitting your paper is December 21, 2024. Motivating deadline rather than cruel cutoff.
  *   Prior to submitting, please follow the instructions to authors when preparing your manuscript: https://cdnsciencepub.com/journal/cjfr/authors#guidelines.
  *
To submit your paper, go to the ScholarOne submission centre: https://mc06.manuscriptcentral.com/cjfr-pubs. At step 3 of the submission process in ScholarOne, specify that your manuscript is intended for the “Celebration of Tim Fahey’s career and contributions to Forest Ecology” collection.
  *   If you wish to publish your article Open Access, details on discounts and waivers for CJFR can be found here: https://cdnsciencepub.com/journal/cjfr/publication-fees.

Please note that all submissions to CJFR, including those that are invited, are subject to the journal’s standard peer review processes.
