[HubbardBrookCOS] Summer/Fall Position Available at Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest

We have a summer/fall position available at Hubbard Brook to assist in scanning the historic precipitation charts. This can be full or part time, and could be used to complement a field position, if anyone has a half time position they want to make whole!

Announcement:

"The Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest (HBEF) is looking for a technician to digitize historic precipitation charts that were collected continuously from 1964-2011. Located in the White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire, the HBEF is one of the longest running and most comprehensive ecosystem studies in the world. The technician will work between 20-40 hours per week during the summer, with the possibility of extension. Remote work is an option, but the ability to attend an in-person training session at the HBEF for 2-3 days at the beginning of employment is preferred. The work will be computer-based and the technician must have experience using spreadsheets. Ideal employees are organized and detail-oriented. Additional opportunities are available to assist in Hubbard Brook field activities and data analyses, depending on the candidate's interest, location, and skill sets. The position pays $19/hr.
