Ph.D. graduate fellowship at Dartmouth College to study forest ecology of the Hubbard Brook ecosystem

We have a Ph.D. graduate fellowship available to begin as soon as summer 2020 in Dartmouth's Graduate Program in Ecology, Evolution, Ecosystems and Society (EEES). The successful candidate will design and conduct original research on biota of the Hubbard Brook Forest<https://hubbardbrook.org/> as part of the NSF-sponsored Long Term Ecological Research project. Possible study organisms include insects, bats, and other heterotrophs. Possible topic areas include phenology, population dynamics, species interactions, connections between green and brown food webs, connections between biogeochemistry and heterotrophs, and more. Requirements include ability to conceive and conduct original research within the umbrella of a larger project; enthusiasm for field biology and collaborative research; and an interest in linkages among ecology, evolution, ecosystems, and society.
