Good afternoon Hubbard Brook community,

The NH State Science Fair is looking for a Hubbard Brook scientist or researcher that would be interested in participating as a panel member focused on research and career opportunities. The event is held in mid-March at New Hampshire Institute of Technology (NHTI) in Concord, NH.

More details about the event and panel can be found below.

The NH Science and Engineering Expo is the state science fair for high schools in NH and is affiliated with the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) and is able to send students on to international competition. The event is held at NHTI in mid-March and organizers are looking to add to the panel members. There is a panel discussion during the time that judges are calculating all the project scores and determining category and best-in-fair winners. This panel is interactive with the students (although all questions are pre-screened) and has been quite a positive experience for the students in the past.

This year's panel will be more focused on different kinds of research opportunities, and already holds folks from ARMI and MWOBS sitting on the panel. Their hope is to have a Hubbard Brook scientist or researcher on the panel as well, especially someone who likes to talk to students about what they do and why.

Please let me know if you are interested in participating or have any further questions.

Thanks,
Brendan
