Good Afternoon, Hubbard Brook!
Do you have a talent or Hubbard Brook tale to share with the community?
Do you love to sing, juggle, play an instrument, tell jokes or stories?
We would love to feature you during our 2023 Hidden Talent and Storytelling Hour on July 12, 7:00 pm, following dinner in the barn at the Hubbard Brook Forest Service Headquarters.
This year, during the Annual Cooperators' Meeting, we are combining our tradition of Hubbard Brook storytelling with a homegrown talent showcase. So far, the lineup includes original Hubbard Brook-inspired poetry, stories from the field, and music performed by our own researchers, students, and communicators. Each performer will have up to 10 minutes in the limelight, and audience participation is encouraged.
For inspiration, check out
previous performances, including music, singing, storytelling, Hubbard Brook trivia, jokes, magic, and art!
If you'd like to participate, please share some basic information about you and your performance using the sign-up form linked below. Sooner is better, but please submit your form by June 16, at the latest. Anthea Lavallee and Raisa Kochmaruk will get back in touch to coordinate the details, including a Zoom rehearsal for storytellers.
Thanks in advance for sharing your talents so generously. We are looking forward to seeing our multidimensional community in a new light and from some surprising angles!
Sincerely,
Raisa and Anthea (your MCs)
