As part of the Scientific Coordinating Committee’s “brainstorming” initiative, we are hosting a brief discussion of new ideas about evolutionary biology at HBES. Chris Neill, our LTER science advisor, has invited three colleagues from the University of Connecticut to share their thoughts: Mark Urban, Jill Wegrzyn, and Cory Merow.
We have allocated the second half of our December 16 SCC meeting for this discussion. The format is for Chris to provide a brief introduction and then for our guests to provide a 10-12 minute overview, followed by discussion for the rest of the 30 minute session.
