New Hampshire is now under a Stay-at-Home Order. New Hampshire has >158 confirmed cases of coronavirus, at least 23 of which are in Grafton County.
The Hubbard Brook Coronavirus Task Force met on Friday.
Here are some things you should know today:

The Forest Service has designated two staff, Ian Halm and David Zietlow, as essential to maintain the physical and intellectual property at the site. All other staff are teleworking.

We will continue a skeletal collection of streams, precipitation, NADP and CASTNET, and maintain the real time sensor network. If you want a virtual peek at what’s going on at Hubbard Brook, visit:

The USFS Hubbard Brook headquarters buildings remain closed to the public. The building is still available to essential staff and essential work done by onsite ‘resident’ cooperators working for the LTER and the Hubbard Brook
Research Foundation.

If you have an essential need to enter the USFS Headquarters buildings, please contact Ian Halm, and he can arrange for an escort, as per USDA policy guidance.
Ian.halm@usda.gov or 603 397 7966. No one is allowed in the buildings without a USFS escort.

We follow White Mountain National Forest policy relative to forest closure. The forest is currently open to the public and for research, although the road is still snow covered. Please let Ian Halm know if you plan to enter
the forest. We will need to follow strict sanitation procedures for touching locks, gates and structures. Further guidance will follow if the situation changes.
