Good afternoon, Hubbard Brook.

Josh Ginsberg, President of the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies, has
information to share about Gary's memorial and other opportunities to
support the family (*below*).

*Gary’s family will be hosting a memorial service on Saturday, January 21
in Cary’s Lovejoy Auditorium. Calling hours will be held *



*from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, followed by a 2:00 pm ceremony celebrating
Gary’s life and contributions.A slideshow is being put together
commemorating Gary. If you have any photos that you would like to share,
the family welcomes them. They can be placed in this folder

and championed by Gary to advance science-based solutions to introduced
forest pests and pathogens.

Personally, over these past few weeks, the many tributes to Gary - the
shared stories, reflections, and writings - have been consolations, and I
am more thankful than ever for this remarkable community.
