This is fantastic! Thank you Team HBWatER!

Hi HBEFers

Inspired by the fun of the leaf out forecast emails from Matt Ayres- the team responsible for the long-term stream and precipitation chemistry record (HBWatER) has decided to start a new tradition.

Each year when a new year's worth of data posts to the EDI we will send out a 'Watershed Report' for that water year.

Mary Martin has just posted that update: Hubbard Brook Watershed Ecosystem Record (HBWatER). 2021. Continuous precipitation and stream chemistry data, Hubbard Brook Ecosystem Study, 1963 - present. ver 4. Environmental Data Initiative. https://doi.org/10.6073/pasta/0e79917db6bc3d70aa625f45f8bb226c<https://nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdoi.org%2F10.6073%2Fpasta%2F0e79917db6bc3d70aa625f45f8bb226c&data=04%7C01%7CMatthew.P.Ayres%40dartmouth.edu%7C4d307b6b3d3f4265f33608d91173de6e%7C995b093648d640e5a31ebf689ec9446f%7C0%7C1%7C637560011742618168%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C2000&sdata=cXeTlMTRZImya511eiUX2T8yCZzgLSSN1WR%2FRrwTgos%3D&reserved=0>

and the First Watershed Report is attached.

This report includes lots of fun data nuggets (including cool field observation photos from Tammy Wooster). We also have great new tools for visualizing the HBWatER dataset that you can access from the report.

We also just posted the detailed daily weather notes and field notes collected by Don Buso and Tammy Wooster back to 1963. A treasure trove for trying to figure out what might have been happening 'back then'

Hope you enjoy! Feel free to share widely and often.

**What is HBWatER? The Hubbard Brook Watershed Ecosystem Record is a dataset of chemical concentration data for precipitation and streamwater samples that have been collected weekly since the summer of 1963 from streams and precipitation gauges throughout the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest
