[Jacquelyn Wilson]

Hello Hubbard Brook community,
I wanted to share the news that I just accepted a position teaching science at Profile High School in Bethlehem, NH, and will be leaving my job with HBRF two weeks from Monday. The last minute posting is not ideal, but I have been eager to get back into the classroom, and I could not pass up the opportunity to teach at a well regarded school so close to home.

I am excited but also conflicted... I’ve really enjoyed my job. I’ve loved the challenge of communicating HB research to general audiences, and getting to interact with so interesting people. HBRF is poised to move forward in a dynamic and positive way, and I regret to leave now. Things are falling well into place for the Research Foundation, and I am sorry to leave knowing that I will no longer participate moving forward. There is so much potential within HBRF now, and between HBRF, USFS, LTER and the Study in general.



It has been such a privilege to work with everyone involved with the HBES, and it’s hard to imagine a comparable work environment filled with the interesting, intelligent, kind and helpful people present at HB.
