*HUBBARD BROOK ECOSYSTEM STUDY 52nd ANNUAL COOPERATORS' MEETING*

Greetings to the Hubbard Brook Community,

It is that time of year to begin preparations for the 52nd Annual Meeting
of the Hubbard Brook Cooperators. The Annual Hubbard Brook Cooperators'
Meeting for 2015 will be held on *July 8 and 9.*

*Please register on-line at *
*http://hubbardbrook.org/events/coop_meetings/register/index.html*
<http://hubbardbrook.org/events/coop_meetings/register/index.html>

We would appreciate if you could please forward this message to your Field
Technicians and Students who are not likely on the annual mailing list. We
ask that each person register *INDIVIDUALLY* for the meeting, even if a PI
is paying the registration fee for their technicians and students.

*Deadlines*

If you plan to give a presentation, please register with your talk
information no later than *Wednesday, June 17*.

If you plan to attend the meetings and not present, you can register
until *Monday,
June 29.*

*Presentation guidelines *The annual meeting of the cooperators of the
Hubbard Brook Ecosystem Study provides an important opportunity for
communication, exchange of ideas and research plans, along with renewal of
friendships. This meeting also provides a perspective on the overall
Hubbard Brook Ecosystem Study. The format for this year's meeting will be
slightly different in that time will be allocated for discussion after each
session. To make time for these discussion periods, we are accepting talks
of either 5 minutes (3 min presentation; 2 min questions) *or *10 minutes
(8 min presentation; 2 min questions).

In the interest of sharing information regarding ongoing research at
Hubbard Brook, presentations on new research which have not yet produced
any data are welcome but should in most cases opt for the 5 minute slot.
Please be aware that because we avoid concurrent sessions and limit the
duration of the meeting, it may be impossible to accommodate all interested
speakers. Hence, the SCC discourages presentations that are based on
studies being done at other places with no clearly-stated relationship to
the Hubbard Brook Ecosystem Study.

*Registration information *Your registration fee will cover refreshments at
coffee break, two lunches, dinner, refreshments and entertainment at the
barn dance and social on July 8. If you are interested in attending this
year's meeting, please complete the online registration and arrange payment
either by Pay-Pal (preferred) or by check mailed to the address below. *($75
standard; $50 student*). If you opt to pay by check, your check needs to be
received prior to the meeting.

*Please have each student and technician register separately, *so that we
can get an accurate head count and dietary preferences for meals.
Researchers can still pay for themselves and students in one lump sum, but
be sure to indicate the names of the individuals you are paying for.

*Please send payments to:*
