Great to include it in the newsletter.
Going to be hard to definitely determine attribution - we can determine time frame. Reference to Henrietta's dinner puts it earlier than late 70's as after that she turned it over to the church women's group.  Henrietta died in 1980 or a couple of years there after.

Somehow I think this is later than the 70s. I was 80 and Tom and Herb shared many Hubbard Brook field trip stories and this never came up.

Geoff, I am going to send it Ellen Denny and Tom Wood  to see if they  knows anything.
