FYI...here's a figure Seth is working for the pulsation nugget.

magEIS pulsation nugget figure. Fennell working on text. Feel free to
take a stab at it as well.

   Joe,

It looks like Harlan wants to get a science nugget out for the ULF stuff
by Monday 8A. I will only have today and tomorrow morning to work on
it. I have a friend coming into town tomorrow afternoon and I will be
entertaining all weekend.

I have attached the figure I think we should use. Let me know how you
would like to proceed. Perhaps you would like to take the first stab at
the accompanying text? I could try, but I feel like you have a much
better feel/appreciation for the historical context regarding why we are
only now seeing such "echoes" so often. This should probably be the
focus/spin of the nugget. Your thoughts?

Thanks,
Seth

/(See attached file: nuggets-nov2012.pptx)/

Dan/Seth,

As feared/anticipated, Nicky is pressing for nuggets and since ECT
was first out of the block with suggestions, we get first dibs. As we
discussed, I offered up four ideas: "storage ring", ULF waves, AE-8
comparison, and hiss loss timescales. Nicky does not want to touch the
storage ring nugget before the Science publication is released, and the
hiss loss timescale should await that, too. She liked both the ULF wave
finding (Seth et al.) and the AE-8 model/data comparison (Dan et al.)
and would like to proceed with nuggets on both.

What she didn't indicate up front is that she wants them by 8AM on
next Monday!!! But let's see what we can do, particularly if these
carry with them the caveats of limited distribution within the agency.
That has certainly been my experience within Planetary - such nuggets
are expressly not to be distributed beyond the upward pipeline within HQ
for all the likely reasons. I asked Nicky for a template to get us
going (see attached).

Seth/Dan - do you feel you have time and are ready to develop the
one pager (1/2 page of an illustrative figure, the other 1/2 page
several explanatory bullets)? I'm happy to help but want to get your
feedback first. I'm ready to tell Nicky we aren't ready on such short
notice if that's the consensus.

Thanks,
- Harlan

Hi Nicky,
Sorry - didn't appreciate that you needed these so quickly. Let me
see what I can work with Seth and Dan. Do you have an example to get us
going in the right direction?
