Hi Folks

I wanted to bring this back up in people’s inboxes as I’ve only seen responses from a couple instrument teams so far. I want to send out a more detailed doodle poll by Tuesday 6/2, so please encourage your team members to fill out the survey for Volatiles session discussions below if they’re working on volatiles-related topics, and to add publications and abstracts from ESM4 to the google doc.

Thanks

Angela

Subject: LRO ESM5 planning, Volatiles theme

Hi folks

I’d like to start gathering information for the Volatiles theme for the LRO ESM5 proposal. I envision this happening in a couple steps:

  1. Discussion with the LRO Science teams about what has been accomplished towards ESM4 goals, and what, if anything, would potentially be carried into ESM5
  2. Discussion of plans for new investigations for ESM 5.

I am planning on holding 2 separate 1-2 hour working meetings with folks from all the instrument teams. Please forward the survey link to any team members who you think might be interested in attending: https://forms.gle/DyhamedL7z4ANunG7

I’ll be picking general times sometime mid-late next week, and will send out a doodle poll to those who responded for picking a more specific time.

I have also started a google doc to collect volatiles-themed publications and abstracts from ESM4. Please add any relevant references from your instrument teams (or delegate that 😉): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1k0ltrvPGc072LsdBA_6fGlfRDHBDXUQyNwYq5868ovI/edit?usp=sharing

I’ve been to a few instrument telecons to discuss Volatiles and ESM5 so far; if you’d like me to come speak to your team prior to these I’m happy to do that, just let me know.

Thanks

Angela
