Hello—
Dang! I knew I forgot to bring something up on the telecon earlier today. A couple of weeks ago I think somebody mentioned that Dobynde and Guo have published another paper using their REDMoon model; however, I haven’t been able to find it, unless the person who told me about it was thinking of a 2022 Chang’E-4 LND data paper by Xu et al. in Frontiers in Astronomy and Space Sciences, DOI 10.3389/fspas.2022.974946, that compares the sensor’s measurements to REDMoon calculations (Dobynde & Guo were co-authors). Is that what you were thinking of?
Thanks—

Subject: [WARNING: SPOOFED E-MAIL--Non-Aerospace Sender] [Crater-team] File that I propose to send to Dobynde & Guo re difference in angular normalization
Hello—
I took some time out to update the six-month LET spectra, and some more time out to look at the recent SEP event, but I finally got around to pulling together the attached brief PPTX outlining the differences between the angular normalizations in Dobynde & Guo’s REDMoon model and our GLACE model, calculating how to transform one to the other, and detailing why I think ours is correct. As I told you earlier, I would like to send them this discussion as a courtesy before the disagreement shows up in the paper I’m writing about GLACE; actually, I will probably ask one of you to send it to them, as my company’s computer system will refuse to send email to .ru and .cn domains… Please send me any comments so I can incorporate them and then put this into Aerospace’s public-release clearance process.
Talk with you tomorrow—
