Normal BIOS and OS updates will be done for the BioMade HPC Core hardware.
Additionally the clusters CPU Only Nodes will each receive an A100 GPU,
purchased by the BioMade grant in 2021Q4. This hardware addition will make
all of the BioMade HPC Core compute nodes GPU nodes.
The GPU card installs and upgrades will take all day Wednesday. But we may
be able to bring the BioMade HPC Core back online before the end of day
Thursday.
Email will be sent when we the BioMade HPC Core is back in service, and two
more email reminders are planned.
Expect reminder email on: Wednesday 1/26 & Monday 1/31
Back online email sometime on: 2/3
