I’m attaching the report I just submitted to NSF, along with the detailed usage statistics, which are part of the report.

A note: I recently spoke with Slava Lukin, the new plasma physics PO at NSF. He told me flat out that he would not support MRI proposals for computers. He thinks that there is enough computing capacity at national centers, and that he can spend MRI dollars better for other, more specialized equipment. I think we should do everything possible to prove him wrong. Fore the next (and final) report I’m hoping that I have some 50 papers and maybe 10 dissertations to report!
