A few of things to note.

*Early registration ends February 13.**

We had a number of requests for joint sessions from other divisions and
we have factored some of those into the structure of the meeting.
Please consider proposing a paper to one of these sessions.

 Joint session with the History of Astronomy Division (POC:  Jay

 Special Chromospheric session focusing on IRIS: please focus any
abstracts submitted to this session on IRIS results and studies

 Two joint sessions with the newly established Laboratory Astrophysics
Division and the Topical Group on Plasma Astrophysics of the American
Physical Society. “Bridging Laboratory and Solar Plasma Studies” on
Thursday, June 5th. <x-apple-data-detectors://7>  This joint meeting
between the solar physics,
laboratory astrophysics, and plasma astrophysics communities presents a
great opportunity to broaden our perspective and to reach out to other
like-minded research communities.
