Dear colleagues,

The one-day meeting on Diagnostics in Laboratory, Heliospheric, and Astrophysical Plasmas will be held on May 5, 2014 at MIT.  There are many places where the principles and applications of plasma diagnostics cross over among our different areas of research, and the goal of this meeting is to explore those connections.

The meeting will take place in building NW17-218 at 175 Albany Street on the northwest side of the main MIT campus in Cambridge.  More information is available on the meeting website, including directions.  If you would like to attend, please include your name in the scheduling poll (if you did not do so already).  This will help give us a rough idea of how many attendees to expect.

If you would like to make a presentation at the meeting, please email a title and abstract to Anne White (whitea@mit.edu) and Nick Murphy (namurphy@cfa.harvard.edu) by April 1, 2014.  The schedule will be announced in early April.

This meeting is being organized through the New England Space Science Consortium (NESSC) and the Plasma Science and Fusion Center (PSFC) at MIT.

Regards,

Anne White (MIT)
Nick Murphy (CfA)
