Hi Folks:

My student has set aside this day from her (very cool) data analysis to supervise volunteers in the Archive while I attend the COS.

So, we have one volunteer for a short time.

Bar-coding is a two person job.

To work efficiently, we need 2-4 volunteers. Two hours is a good chunk of time to work.

Especially those of you who have not contributed yet—please think about whether your student, tech, or REU can spare two hours to support the infrastructure at HB.

Thanks,

Linda

Subject: Archive Workdays Tues 7/11 + Fri 7/14--Volunteers RSVP

Dear Colleagues:

Second chance--I am writing again to see if you are able to contribute some labor toward reaching our goal of barcoding the entire water collection (over 20K samples) this summer.

We need your help!

We will be working in the Archive on:

Tuesday          11 July from 8-5

Friday             14 July from 8-3

If you have someone who could work with us for 2 hours one of these days, please reply and let me know when you are available and how many people are volunteering.

We could use up to 8 or 10 volunteers each day.

Don't miss the Meeting Week Archive Work Days! Team-building! Camaraderie! No PowerPoints!

Thanks,

Linda
