A small crew from UNH will be finishing up shotgun foliage sampling today of a subset of the Hubbard Brook valley-wide plots that we began sampling last week.  We anticipate that sampling will be completed today, August 10, though pending weather and other conditions, it is possible that it will require one more day. If you have questions, please contact me (lucie.lepine@unh.edu) or Scott Ollinger (scott.ollinger@unh.edu, 207-423-4503) .

Thank you!

Lucie

A crew from UNH will be sampling foliage along a subset (12-20) of the Hubbard Brook valley-wide plots using 12 gauge shotguns this week.  Signs will be posted along the road marking the lines the crews are sampling from.  Leaf samples will be collected from trees adjacent to the plots and not from the plot interiors.  Sampling is expected to start Monday morning and end Friday afternoon, pending weather and progress.

Thanks,

Scott
