To the Hubbard Brook Community:

The Archive Committee it looking for volunteers next week to help move forward the massive project of barcoding the water collection (2400 are currently barcoded, ~27K to go…).

We will be working in the Archive Monday afternoon (7/6) all day Tues, 7/7 (8-4:30) and all day Friday, 7/10 (8-4).

We have multiple tasks and can occupy quite a number of people. It is probably most efficient if volunteers have half a day or so, but even  an hour will help us.

OPEN TO ALL, NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

This is a great opportunity to understand the behind the scenes work that makes Hubbard Brook such an incredibly data-rich and valuable LTER site.

Please let Amey AND me know whether you might be able to help out and when.

You can always just show up at the Archive to help, but we can work more efficiently if we have some idea about how many people will be there when.

Thanks,

Linda
